VE7TEL 145.170MHz (-600kHz)/442.875MHz (+5MHz)
The VE7TEL voice repeaters were acquired from the Telephone Pioneers Amateur Radio Club (TPARC) in February 2025. They are located in the TELUS Central Office at the corner of Kingsway and Boundary Road, on the Burnaby/Vancouver border.
The VHF repeater uses a Motorola Quantar, running at 125W. It is on the AllStarLink Network as Node 521800.
The UHF repeater uses a Yaesu DR-1X, running in analog mode, at 25W. It is on the AllStarLink Network as Node 521801.
Both repeaters are connected to a Sinclair "Combi" antenna at the top of the tower that is effectively a 2-bay folded dipole on both VHF and UHF.
The repeater rack is powered by the building UPS system, to provide high reliability service.
